Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data AquaRock Industries Private Limited collects through FactoryEasy, why, and what you can do about it. We are the data fiduciary for the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. What we collect

• Identity and contact data — name, mobile number, email address, and where you are a business, your company name and GSTIN.
• Enquiry data — the property you enquired about, your requirement, budget and timeline.
• Project data you enter into our calculators — investment figures, turnover, headcount, location.
• Transaction data — what you bought and when. Card details are handled by our payment gateway and never reach our servers.
• Usage data — pages viewed, searches run, device and approximate location derived from IP address.

Calculator inputs

If you use a calculator without signing in, we compute your result and do not store what you entered against an identity. We retain anonymous aggregates so we can tell which tools are used. If you sign in or ask us to save a calculation, we store it against your account so you can return to it.

2. Why we use it

• To operate the marketplace and show you relevant properties.
• To respond to your enquiry and connect you with the listing party where you ask us to.
• To produce and deliver reports you have purchased.
• To take payment, issue invoices and meet our tax and accounting obligations.
• To prevent fraud and abuse, and to keep the platform secure.
• To send you service messages. Marketing messages are sent only where you have opted in, and every one carries an unsubscribe.

3. Sharing your contact details with sellers

This is the part of this policy that matters most, so it is stated plainly.

1. When you submit an enquiry, you consent to us contacting you about it. That consent is recorded separately from anything else.
2. Sharing your contact details with a third-party seller, agent or partner requires a separate, specific consent that you give knowingly. We record it as a distinct permission, not as a checkbox bundled into these terms.
3. If you have not given that second consent, a seller who unlocks your enquiry sees your requirement — what you are looking for, your budget, your timeline — but not your phone number or email.
4. Every reveal is logged: who unlocked it, when, and exactly which fields were disclosed. You may ask us for that record.

4. Who else we share with

• Payment gateway — to process payments and refunds.
• Communication providers — to deliver OTPs and service messages by SMS, WhatsApp or email.
• Cloud infrastructure and analytics providers — who process data on our instructions.
• Professional advisers and authorities — where we are legally required to, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

We do not sell personal data.

5. AI processing

Parts of this service use AI models to draft narrative text and to help interpret what you are looking for. Two things follow, and both are deliberate:

• No monetary figure in any report is produced by an AI model. Figures are computed by deterministic engines and substituted into the text afterwards.
• Content you submit is not used to train third-party models. Where a model provider is used, it is under terms that exclude training on our data.

6. How long we keep it

• Account and transaction records: eight years, as tax and company law require.
• Enquiries and leads: three years from last activity, unless you ask us to erase them.
• Anonymous usage aggregates: indefinitely, as they identify no one.

7. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may:

• Ask what personal data we hold about you and how it has been shared.
• Ask us to correct anything inaccurate or incomplete.
• Ask us to erase your data, where we are not required to keep it for a legal or accounting purpose.
• Withdraw a consent you gave, as easily as you gave it.
• Nominate someone to exercise these rights if you are unable to.
• Complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to staff who need it. One-time passwords are stored hashed, never in readable form. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you and the Board promptly if a breach affects you.

9. Cookies

We use cookies necessary for the site to work — session, security and preference. Analytics cookies are set only where you allow them, and declining changes nothing about what the site will do for you.

10. Children

This is a business platform not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under eighteen.
